Hey!! Cool article and I have to say regardless of what you make and what the partner makes, money is always a touchie subject but one that absolutely needs to be discussed. So many people are facing these issues. For me personally it has forced me to value quality experiences with the people I care for.

PS - I added you to my blogroll.
Kindly,
Giagrl

GREAT article. I know getting my husband's buy-in has been a challenge, but not an overwhelming one. He's not a real spendthrift, by any means, and at the end of the day we both want to own our house outright so that we have greater freedom and mobility.

I know a "lack of goals" is something I do run into with my husband. He seems fine with his 9-5 job where he's been for the past eight years, even if I want more from my life. That's okay, too.
